The residents of Nabha, Punjab, showered flowers on a sanitation worker from their terraces to thank him for his service during the novel coronavirus lockdown. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted the one-minute clip and said that he was "pleased to see the applause and affection showered by people of Nabha on the sanitation worker".
As the sanitation worker walked through a particular area in Nabha with his hand-cart, people showered flowers on him from their terraces and also greeted him with a big round of applause. Some people also garlanded the sanitation worker and patted him on his back, thereby expressing gratitude to those at the forefront of the Covid-19 outbreak.
"It's heartening to note how adversity is bringing out the intrinsic goodness in all of us. Let's keep it up & cheer our frontline warriors in this War Against Covid-19," Captain Amarinder Singh said in the caption of his post.
